At TFCU, your security is a top priority. That’s why we’re implementing IDCheck — a new, easy way to verify your out-of-state IDs during branch transactions, designed to prevent fraud and keep your accounts safe.
Starting May 1, 2025, members with out-of-state IDs will need to complete a quick, one-time verification using IDCheck when conducting transactions at TFCU branches or CO-OP Shared Branch locations.
Here’s how it works:
- Scan the QR code at the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
- Type and select Tinker FCU from the list.
- Enter your member number and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID or passport and take a selfie.
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode will be valid for 20 minutes).
- Once verified, save your verify status to your device. You will need to verify once per device.
Who needs IDCheck?
IDCheck is required for members who:
- Visit TFCU branches with an out-of-state ID.
- Use CO-OP Shared Branches while traveling or after relocating.
IDCheck makes your in-branch and CO-OP Shared Branch transactions safer, faster and easier.
