We are excited to announce that local credit unions have teamed up for the third year to present a free country music concert featuring Brothers Osborne. CU in the Park will take place on Saturday, September 27, at 7 p.m. at Scissortail Park’s Love’s Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn.
Credit unions were founded with the simple-yet-powerful mission of “people helping people.” Unlike traditional banks, credit unions operate as member-owned cooperatives, meaning that each member has a voice in the decision-making process. This unique structure allows credit unions to focus on serving their members and the community, prioritizing their needs above all else.
Credit unions are deeply embedded in their communities, and CU in the Park is a testament to that commitment. Beyond individual financial needs, credit unions actively participate in local initiatives, sponsor community events, and support charitable causes that uplift the lives of those they serve. Events like CU in the Park provide an opportunity for community members to connect, celebrate and enjoy quality entertainment free of charge.
At Tinker Federal Credit Union our commitment to the community goes beyond providing financial services. We believe in empowering our members and helping them achieve their financial goals. By offering essential financial products, such as savings accounts, loans, and checking accounts with competitive interest rates and lower fees, we strive to make a positive impact on the financial well-being of our members.
On September 27, bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and drinks to enjoy this outdoor concert. We can’t wait to see you there!
