OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (October 31, 2025) – As the ongoing government shutdown continues to impact thousands of Oklahomans, Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has launched a hardship relief program to help its members stay financially steady and is making more than $30,000 in donations across the state to help our communities during this uncertain time.
TFCU hardship relief options
This program is designed to ease immediate financial strain for those impacted by delayed paychecks. Available options include:
- No-fee Skip-A-Payment opportunities
- Interest-only payment plans
- Fee refunds
- 0% interest loans for qualifying members

Donations
TFCU is helping support non-profit organizations across the state with donations to increase support for our communities. There are more than 15 organizations receiving donations across the state; some examples include:
- Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma – $10,000
- Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma – $5,000
- Project 66 in Edmond – $1,000
- Broken Arrow Neighbors – $1,000
- Mid-Del Food Pantry – $1,000
