Sweet and Funny Memaw
Natalie Wesberry saw TFCU’s “Thankful for You” contest on Instagram in November and instantly knew who she would nominate for a chance to win a $300 Visa® Gift Card. Quickly, she posted these kind words about her mom, “I am thankful for my mom! There is no one better to laugh with. She’s my little hippy soul mate and a fighter, too. We would be lost without her.”
Natalie and her daughter, Aria, count on her ‘memaw’ for many things. “I can think of a thousand ways I’m appreciative of her. She’s a wonderful mom and a great memaw,” said Natalie. “From making a cup of milk for Aria to picking her up from school, memaw is there from the smallest to the biggest. She’s the most consistent. She’s my go to. She’s sweet and funny…mostly funny!”
What granddaughter Aria likes about her memaw, “She’ll even paint your nails!”
Helpful Fiancé
Also on Instagram, Biki Montalvo jumped in and nominated her fiancé for a chance to win the “Thankful for You” contest. Her entry read, “I’m thankful for Hermilio in my life. Without you, we wouldn’t have our amazing baby. I’m thankful I can grow with you as a family.”
Biki also shared that she appreciates Hermilio’s listening ear and helpful spirit. “Any time I need someone to talk to, he’s always there for me,” said Biki. “If there’s a time I have a problem—or if anyone in his life has a problem—he’s always there to help out. I love that about him.”
Biki and Hermilio recently moved into a new home and plan to use their winnings toward those expenses.
Loving Kiddos
Shelley Esquivias nominated her adult children for a chance to win (and share) the $300 Visa® Gift Card prize. “I am thankful for my kiddos. They have had my back as long as I can remember,” said Shelley. “They’re both very mature. They both have families of their own that they take care. That’s what I’m most proud of, that they raise their children with respect and love.”
