TFCU drive-thru banking upgrade

Over 2026, we will be replacing the traditional tube systems at all TFCU branches with all new drive-up Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). Going forward, all drive-thru transactions will take place using these ITMs for extended drive-thru banking hours.

What’s changing

Instead of sending your transactions through a tube, you’ll simply pull up to one of our new or existing drive-up ITMs and tap the screen to begin. These machines allow you to complete nearly all the same transactions you would with a teller inside the branch, but entirely from your vehicle.

How ITMs work

ITMs look and function like ATMs, but with a key difference: you can easily connect and video chat with a live TFCU teller with the touch of a button. Just tap the screen to start a live chat. You’ll be able to:

  • Cash or deposit checks.
  • Make loan and credit card payments.
  • Transfer funds between accounts.
  • Withdraw cash.
  • Video chat with a teller to ask questions and receive help in real time.

Why we’re making this change

Our goal is to make banking more convenient while keeping the same friendly, personal service you expect from TFCU. ITMs offer extended service hours, improved accessibility and faster transaction times, all from the comfort of your car.

When to expect the update

These changes will take place in 2026 at all TFCU branches. Once complete, the tube system will be retired, and members can use the new and existing ITMs on-site for extended drive-thru banking hours.
