Neil Schemmer is TFCU’s new executive vice president and chief lending officer

OKLAHOMA CITY (January 30, 2024) – Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) recently named Neil Schemmer as executive vice president and chief lending officer.

In his role, Schemmer will oversee all lending functions, including indirect, consumer, mortgage and commercial lending. His expertise will be instrumental in refining and expanding TFCU’s lending offerings, catering to the unique needs of both individual and business members.

“Neil brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the lending field, making him an excellent addition to our organization,” said Dave Willis, TFCU’s president and CEO. “His strong background and skills will play a crucial role in further enhancing our lending services and ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our members.”

Schemmer brings 37 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at TFCU. Throughout his career, Schemmer has held key positions such as controller, chief financial officer, chief lending officer and president and CEO. His expertise extends beyond the financial sector and includes roles in public accounting and the oil and gas industry. His diverse background and wealth of knowledge about financial services position him as a valuable leader within TFCU, and members will benefit from the strategic and well-rounded approach he brings to the credit union’s lending functions.

Schemmer is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics and accounting. Schemmer is a certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
