
Amber Tate has been with Tinker Federal Credit Union since 2017 and currently serves as the Manager of Member Solutions. She brings more than two decades of experience in financial services, including twelve years with CitiFinancial Servicing Inc., where she advanced to Assistant Center Manager overseeing consumer and mortgage portfolios. Earlier in her career, she managed one of the company’s largest extended-hour executive branches in Oklahoma, gaining extensive expertise in lending compliance, collection practices, and mortgage regulations. Amber’s work often involved guiding clients through financial hardship modifications and short sales—experiences that sparked her passion for helping others navigate challenging financial situations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University and a Master of Science in Management. Amber is also a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) and, in 2024, earned the Behavioral Financial Advice (BFA) designation, equipping her to strengthen client relationships, enhance decision-making, and support members in achieving their financial goals. Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and indulging her love for true crime stories. She also enjoys reading, listening to music and podcasts, and binge-watching her favorite Netflix series.
