Shred day – Moore
A common scam called dumpster diving is one of the primary ways criminals obtain information to perpetrate identity theft and other fraudulent activity. These criminals sift through trash to obtain personal information from discarded documents.
To help our community members securely dispose of unneeded paperwork containing personal information, TFCU will host shred days at several of our branches.
Acceptable items: Clean paper (any color/size), blueprints, newspapers, magazines, brochures, mail and file folders
Unacceptable items: Plastic bags and packing material, computer discs, CDs / DVDs, backup / VCR tapes, transparencies / X-rays, ID badges / driver’s licenses, microfiche / microfilm, batteries, electronic parts (e.g. no computer, printer or photocopier parts), trash or hazardous materials, metals and bio-hazardous or medical waste
Location: Moore branch (400 SW 6th St, Moore, OK)
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
TFCU shred days are open to everyone, including both members and non-members.
To accommodate everyone on shred days, please limit the amount of paperwork you bring to three boxes (approximately 18 inches by 12 inches) per car.
In the event of inclement weather, for the safety of our members and employees, TFCU may delay or cancel a shred day event without notice.
