Erika Cortes began her career in financial services in 2010 as a teller at a local credit union. She holds the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through America’s Credit Union, reflecting her commitment to empowering members through financial education and guidance. Over the years, Erika advanced through various roles in member services, and in 2018, she transitioned into consumer lending. There, she gained valuable experience working with members facing credit challenges and found fulfillment in helping them achieve their borrowing goals. In 2025, Erika joined TFCU as a Member Solutions Consultant. In this role, she discovered a deep passion for helping individuals overcome financial hardships, establishing credit history and reaching their personal financial goals. She continues to focus on financial wellness, offering personalized support and guidance to every member she serves. Outside of work, Erika enjoys reading, watching movies and spending quality time with family and friends.
