OKLAHOMA CITY – Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has officially started its hand2hand volunteer week. Now in its fifth year, hand2hand gives TFCU employees the opportunity to volunteer their time during working hours to non-profit organizations in the communities TFCU serves.
“By volunteering their time and talent to charitable agencies and civic organizations, employees gain the satisfaction of helping others, as well as meeting and collaborating with other TFCU employees,” said hand2hand coordinator Preston Mechling.
Organizations were selected based on communities where TFCU has branches. Some of the agencies and organizations included Regional Food Bank, Second Chance Animal Shelter, Mid-Del Food Pantry, Reaching Our City, Jesus House OKC, Tulsa Day Center, Loaves & Fishes, Positive Tomorrows, Infant Crisis Center, Humane Society – Stillwater, Moore/Norman Habitat for Humanity, Hope Center of Edmond and City Rescue Mission.
TFCU is the largest credit union in Oklahoma, with $3.3 billion in assets and over 300,000 members.
