Making a Difference

Employees volunteering for Hand2HandTinker Federal Credit Union is committed to giving back. Every year our employees willingly give time and money in support of the communities we serve.

In 2013, over 200 TFCU employees participated in the 4th annual weeklong Hand2Hand corporate volunteer initiative.  Employees donated over 570 hours to non-profit organizations throughout the state including: City Rescue Mission, Habitat for Humanity, Infant Crisis Center and Regional Food Bank. TFCU raised $22,701 for Children’s Miracle Network through the 13th annual Miracle Car Show and in-branch fundraising efforts and donations. We also raised $33,338 for the American Diabetes Association. Several TFCU employees mentored students from John Marshall Mid-High School during the 2013 fall semester, as part of the John Marshall Academy of Finance Mentoring Program. In support of local, state, and national charities and organizations, 299 employees donated $60,189 to TFCU’s annual Combined Federal Campaign. TFCU was also selected for the 2014 Greater Oklahoma Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Community Involvement Award.

Credit verification will be evaluated prior to interview. Educational, employment, bondabilty, and professional certifications will be verified for final candidates. Selected candidate will be subject to substance/alcohol testing and employment references.

In effort to ensure Tinker Federal Credit Union complies with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Lending Act (“SAFE Act”), some positions may be subject to SAFE Act Registration requirements. Selected candidate must register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements. Upon selection, TFCU will sponsor employees who are required to register through the NMLS. The registry process includes fingerprinting and background check.
